Lamar Deese Obituary
Family-Placed Death Notice
DEESE, Lamar Mr. Lamar Arvile Deese, age 61, of Sharpsburg, died at this residence on May 1, 2008. He graduated from East Atlanta High School, class of 1965, where he played football. He served his country in the military and loved race cars, model cars, and boating. Mr. Deese was a diesel mechanic and had worked for GMC, Freightliner, Volvo, and White Trucking Companies. He was a member of Harvest Park Baptist Church and was also a gunsmith. Surviving are his wife, Aida Carlene Deese of Sharpsburg; sons, Steve (Jane) Deese of Castle Park, CO; Len (Tracey) Deese of Douglasville; daughters, Chante (Shane) McNeal of Gainesville, Jeanice Loudermilk of Carrollton; brother, Donald Eugene Deese of Texas; sister-in-law, Corrine Deese of Stockbridge; grandchildren, Seth, Eric, Torie, Megan, Ashley, Makenzie, Nathan, Traclen, Matthew, Morgan, Ireland, Gracie. A memorial service will be held Sunday, at 3 PM at the Harvest Park Baptist Church with Dr. Hugh McDonald, Pastor Lee Ayers, and Mr. Len Deese officiating. The family will receive friends at the Higgins Hillcrest Chapel Funeral Home on Saturday, 3-7 PM. Higgins Hillcrest Chapel, Newnan 770-253-4723

Carlene and family,
Words cannot express how my heart aches for all of you. Lamar was a wonderful person and a great friend to my family. I am gratefull and honored that you came to spend this past Thanksgiving with me and my family. Lamar will be greatly missed and never forgotten. Carlene, I love you. You have always been my other Mother as well has the best roommate I ever had. I am here if you need anything.
