Family-Placed Death Notice
Joanna Forbes, 51, of Sandy Springs died suddenly August 17, 2003. She is survived by her parents, Gordan and Barbara Forbes of Sandy Springs, sister and brother-in-law, Lesley and Ken McAusland of Dacula, sister, Ginny Sikes, Sandy Springs, sister and brother-in-law, Annette and Michael Kramer of Roswell, 1 niece and nephews. Joanna was born in Maidenhead, England and mved with her family to the US in 1956. She is a graduate of North Springs High School and Ringling School of Art in Sarasota, FL. Throughout her life, Joanna had a great love of art, animals and flowers. She will be loved and greatly missed by family and friends. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, August 28, at 11 A.M. at St. Luke's Episcopal Church, 435 Peachtree St. NE, Atlanta, GA 30308. The officiant is the Reverend Richard C. Britton, Jr. In lieu of flowers donations may be given to Best Friends Animal Sanctuary, 5001 Angel Cannon Dr. Kanab, UT 84741, www.bestfriends.org. Wages & Sons, Stone Mountain Chapel.
