JACKSON, Laura MRS. LAURA VIRGINIA WILBORN JACKSON Mrs. Laura Virginia Wilborn Jackson of Atlanta, a native of Washington, Ga., passed away on Friday, March 26, 2010. She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Mr. Andrew Jackson, Sr. Celebration of Life service will be held Wednesday, March 31, 2010 at 12 Noon at Cascade United Methodist Church, 3144 Cascade Rd., SW, Atlanta. Marvin A. Moss, Senior Pastor. Instate 11 a.m. Interment, Lincoln Cemetery. Survivors include children, Andretta Nance, Lileve Hawk (Cedric), Claruth McLemore, Andrew Jr. (Tisa); 7 grandchildren; sisters, Ruth Crutcher, Rosa Scott, Cynthia Clark and Barbara Watson; brothers, Joe Louis Wilborn (Ellen), Bill Wilborn (Delores), Franklin Wilborn (Shirley); in-laws, Cleo Wilbon, Louise Wilbon, Dosh Jackson (Juliette), Clara Jackson Johnson; and a host of Wilborn and Jackson families. To the family of a beautiful lady, my deepest sympathy. I saw Ms. Laura at the grocery store when I loss my aunt. I told her that I was the granddaugther of Bertha Middlebrooks and great neice of Lucille Summers. And told her of my Auntie's passing. She came to sit with me and my family. That was so special to me. Thanks.

Mimi you will be greatly missed. You were a great wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend. It was a pleasure to have known you! I remember our last conversation, a story about your daughters "triplets" when they were kids in August of 2009 at church and will never foget it. You touched many hearts including mine! We loved and cherished the two of them for many, many years.
