PEARSON, Elizabeth ELIZABETH ANDERSON PEARSON Elizabeth Anderson Pearson, age 92, of Atlanta, GA passed away at her home on Thursday, July 29, 2010. Ms. Pearson was born February 9, 1918 in Amqui Junction (now Madison), TN. She graduated from Girls High of Atlanta in 1935 and entered the legal field as a secretary. She worked with Warner S. Currie and Glover McGhee from the time they made their partnership in 1949 until 1987. During those years of a successful growing law practice, known today as Swift, Currie, McGhee & Hiers, Ms. Pearson (also known as "Ms. P") served as secretary, "girl Friday," bookkeeper, office manager and personnel director. She was a long time member of the Atlanta Chapter of the American Guild of Organists and served as the church organist for Park Street United Methodist Church in Atlanta for 30 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bernice and Emma Anderson, and her sister, Marion Brooks Giles. She is survived by her daughter, Marilyn Bell of Jackson, GA; granddaughter, Monica Bishop and her husband, Andy, of Braselton, GA; granddaughter Lisa Wilson and her husband, Randy, of McDonough, GA; and great-granddaughter, Riley Wilson. Ms. Pearson was cremated and a memorial service to be held at H.M. Patterson & Son, Spring Hill Chapel on Tuesday, the tenth of August at two o'clock in the afternoon.
