Pat Denman Obituary

Commercial artist Pat Denman was so good at drawing faces that he got a request to do a portrait of President Lyndon Johnson, after Johnson saw the striking charcoal portrait Denham had made of late president John F. Kennedy. And when Lady Bird Johnson visited Atlanta, Denman presented her with a portrait of herself as well. He worked many years as an illustrator for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
James Patrick Denman, 92, of Atlanta, died Thursday at Hospice Atlanta of heart failure.

Dear Cynthia and Rick,
I really enjoyed growing up next door to you, your Mom and Dad. I saw your Dad in 2007 and enjoyed the stories he had to tell.

Cynthia and Rick,
Juanita Denman Schult was my son's grandmother, and I remember spending time with Pat and Mary years ago. They were both lovely people. I send you my sincere condolences on your loss.
