DRUDING, Fr. John C. FR. JOHN C. DRUDING The Reverend John C. Druding, retired Priest of the Archdiocese of Atlanta, died on Saturday, February 12, at St. George Village. He was 74. Father Druding was a special priest to me during my conversion to the catholic church in 1997. It was during a meeting with him and a discussion on choosing a confirmation name that I mentioned the name of Ferdinand, after my dad. He pulled from his desk a copy of the Pittsburgh Catholic newspaper and a local church - St. Ferdinand was featured. I took the paper home and opened it only to find my local parish church Holy Rosary, Muse PA also featured in this Christmas edition. I knew the name Ferdinand was the right name and I drove back to the church in excitement to speak with Father. Tears welled in my eyes as I knew the Spirit was there that evening when Father Druding and I had our meeting. We continued to exchange Christmas greetings with Father after our return to the family home in Muse Pennsylvania.

Thank you Father and May you rest in peace with our Lord and Savior.

The world has lost a wonderful person. Fr. Druding was so very special to our family. He married our son and daughter in law and was so good to 'the girls" Julia and Jenny. I can't thank him enough for all the joy he brought to us as well as all the prayers he prayed for us. We love you Fr. Jack and we will miss you.I know you are resting with our Lord.
