Family-Placed Death Notice

Mr. Byron W. McDaniel of Jonesboro, passed away Wednesday, November 9, 2005 at the age of 83. Mr. McDaniel served in the U.S. Navy and was a member of the Forest Park Moose Family Center where he held the degree of Pilgrim and was also a member of the Masonic Lodge. Funeral services will be held Friday, November 11, 2005 at 1;00 p.m. at Horis A. Ward's Tara Chapel, with interment to follow at Sherwood Memorial Park. Pastor Wilburn Lewis will officiate. The family will receive friends TODAY from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6;00 to 8:00 p.m. Mr. McDaniel is survived bby his wife, Helen McDaniel; daughters, Toni Glass, Jean Carroll, Gail Clay and Sharon Buie; sons, Ted McDaniel, Terry McDaniel and Eddie Norton; sisters, Hazel Smith, Louise Farnham and Thelma Sweeten; brothers, Richard McDaniel and Joe McDaniel; 15 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Horis A. Ward Tara Chapel, Jonesboro is in charge of arrangements. 770-471-7171.
