Jan Brosome Chaput was a beloved friend; mother figure, after the death of my mother; wife of the ever charming, kind, and loving Bob Chaput (deceased); and mother of some of the dearest people that I have known, Dana, Lisa, precious Paul (deceased), Rob and Jon. I have been richly blessed by you, dear Jan.

I grew up as a child doing yard work for Jan Chaput. She often would invite me in and feed me lunch, always interested in my life and family and often sharing her faith. As a matter of fact, my early days of reading the Bible in college and the hours of study that transformed my life were because of "The Word Among Us," which she supplied me with a subscription to. Even after college she still was amazing at every visit was one of a dozen or so people who came to my graduation party after grad school. By that time I had known her for nearly 20 years. She also was one of two people who I went with, to my first Eucharistic congress which was another step in leading me closer to home.
I am forever grateful to Jan for helping me find my way to God and always being such a strong light and distributed of God's holy joy.
Lord, bless her family as she rejoiced in your heavenly presence now and forevermore.

We're so very sorry for your loss of such a beautiful lady you call Mom, grandma, friend. So sweet and strong, faithful and gifted, in so many ways. A lady you meet once or twice, but never forget! A beautiful smile filled the room. Peace and love to all. God bless her soul.

I am sorry to hear about Mrs. Chaput. I grew up on Amberidge in the 60s and 70s and later remember her walking along the street. My parents George and Anne Davis were friends with her when they were alive. I wish you peace in the coming days.

The loss of a love one is difficult. May the precious memories you have help you cope and bring you peace. 1 Thes. 4:14 can bring you some comfort knowing that there is a future for the ones we have lost in death can be reassuring. May the God of peace be with you and your family.
