Charlie Peppers Obituary
Family-Placed Death Notice
Charlie Peppers, age 74 of Social Circle, died on December 24, 2006. He was born in Gwinnett County on August 19, 1932 to the late Loy Peppers and the late Thelma Murphy Peppers. He served with the U.S. Army during the Korean War, and retired from the City of Atlanta Police Department with 35 years of service. He was preceded in death by his brothers, the late Bobby Peppers and the late Phillip Peppers. Surviving are: Wife: Anne Shepherd Peppers of Social Circle; Daughters and Sons in Law: Teresa and George Duval of Social Circle, and Tammy and Glen Murphy of Social Circle; Sister: Bonnie Faye Parham of Social Circle: brothers: Bronzie Peppers of Monroe, and Gerald Peppers of McDonough; Grandchildren: Tera Duval, Rion Duval, Tori Murphy, and Chad Murphy, all of Social Circle; Great Grandchild: J.D. Minor of Social Circle. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, December 27th at 2:00 P,M. at the Social Circle First Baptist Church with the Rev. Milton Wood and Dr. Tom Rush officiating. Interment will follow at Social Circle City Cemetery. Meadows Funeral Home, Inc. was in charge of arrangements.

Hey uncle DOTMAN this is your favorite neice. It has almost been a year since you've past and i miss you like hell. From your teeth smacking to your fingernail clicking but I know people say when it's your time to go he'll call you but this time I think he made a slight misstake when he took you from us. I love you and always will missing you always.

My thoughts and prayers are with the Peppers family.I can remember my dad talking about the good times he and Charlie had when they used to ride together to Atlanta to work years ago,and we both worked with Bronzie for many years at Hercules.Please accept our sympathy in this sad time.

To the Peppers and Ward family. Our prayers and thoughts are with all of you in this time of sorrow. Just remember that God makes no mistakes. We all grew up together in Kirkwood and went to school and played together. I remember Dot Man so well and he will be truly missed by all of us.
