Sharon Linder

Sharon Linder née Plowright, age 79, died August 5, 2018 in Auburn, Calif at Sutter Auburn Faith Hospital. Sharon was born on October 30, 1938 at Berkeley, California. She lived with her family in Millbrae, Calif and graduated from Capuchino High School in San Bruno. Sharon then attended San Jose State University and graduated with a BA in History and a teaching credential. While at San Jose State, Sharon met fellow student John Linder and the couple wed on August 12, 1961. After their marriage, John and Sharon moved to King City, Calif. where Sharon taught at King City High School. In 1966 the Linder family moved to Auburn where Sharon worked as a part-time substitute teacher at various schools in the Placer Unified School District. Sharon dedicated her life to her family and her church, leading many Bible studies and serving for many years on the missions committee. Sharon is survived by her husband John Linder, their children Lisa (Russell) Pywtorak of Granite Bay, Calif, Matthew (Jane) Linder of Auburn, Calif and Karen (John) Malinowski of Hope Mills, N.C. She is also survived by her nine grandchildren: Analie, Mary and Abigail Pywtorak, James and Ellen Linder and Joshua, Daniel and Grace Malinowski.
A memorial service for Sharon will be held on Saturday, September 1, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Sierra Baptist Church: 2215 Auburn Folsom Rd, Newcastle, CA 95658
