Please accept my condolences for your mom, Lois. She and your dad were my husband's doctors, along with Chubby Engler. Your dad and Dr Moretz literally saved my husband's life with an emergency surgery after a cardiac arrest in 1963. My husband was a patient of theirs from 1959 to 1965. I will always remember them fondly. You were very blessed to have had them for parents. Sincerely, Margaret Freyermuth

I did not know the good Doctor, but all I can say after reading about her is "what a woman!" What an amazing legacy, and what astounding accomplishments in one lifetime. May God bless you all in your sorrow, but I know you all will continue to make her proud of you in the way you live your lives. God truly smiled upon her and blessed all of you with her, as well. Peace be with you.
