Robin Grubbs Obituary
Atlanta, Georgia—We celebrate the life and memory of Robin N. Grubbs, 39, who entered into rest on Tuesday, April 14, 2020 at her residence in Atlanta.
She was a native of Augusta, Georgia and lived in Atlanta for six years.
Robin attended the public schools of Richmond County and was a graduate of Lucy C. Laney High School Class of 1998.
She was employed as a case manager at the Atlanta Federal Penitentiary.
Survivors are: her parents, Gary and Martha Ann Ardis Grubbs of Augusta, Ga., a brother, Douglas J. Grubbs of Augusta, GA. her maternal grandmother, Mary Ardis of Beech Island, SC and her paternal grandmother, Hattie Wimberly Grubbs of Augusta, GA., her fur baby, Louie, a host of aunts and uncles, cousins and other relatives and friends.

Robin was an angel. She had a heart of gold. I was introduced to Robin through a mutual friend. She became a sister in grief/healing as we both suffered similar losses. Robin you will truly be missed. We spent many days together while in Iraq and stationed at Ft Stewart. You are truly an amazing person and have always been a wonderful friend. My condolences to Robins parents, brother,family and friends. This is such a tremendous loss.The world is definitely not as bright with the loss of Robin.Robin had such a beautiful smile and angelic spirit. She was my childhood doppelgänger or twin. People would often mistake us for one another growing up because we had a similar complexion with long legs and long dark and thick hair. We grew up down the street from one another and went to East Augusta and Laney together. We had a lot of laughs during those years about the mixups. I will always remember you and those times fondly. Bells are ringing because Robin Grubbs the angel who walked among us ...has received her heavenly wings. God bless you Mr. Gary, Ms. Ann and Douglas!
