Obituary Condolences

Mr. Jerry Michael "Mike" Toole, 61, beloved husband of twenty-six years to Mrs. Mary Johnson Toole, entered into rest on Friday, January 5, 2018.

Born in and a lifelong resident of Aiken County, SC, he was a son of the late Felder and Cora Mae Smith Toole. Mike was the Owner/Operator of Atlantic Heating and Air, until his health forced him to retire. A Master Mason, he was a member of the Belvedere Masonic Lodge #318 A.F.M., as well as a Shriner, affiliated with the Aiken Shrine Club. He had a passion for firefighting and had formerly served as Chief of the former Clearwater Fire Department, now the Midland Valley Fire Department. He was also founding member of the North Augusta Rescue Squad and former Aiken County Council member. Mike also enjoyed fishing and traveling. More than anything however, he enjoyed spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren, Conner Greene, Maddie Greene, Lanndyn Greene, Jackson Glover, Natalee Glover, Addyson Glover and Zach Toole.

In addition to his wife, parents and grandchildren, family members include his children, Bryan Greene, Beech Island, SC, Shana Greene, Warrenville, SC and Bobby Toole, North Augusta, SC and siblings, Annette Hart, Belvedere, SC, Joyce Jackson, North Augusta, SC, Ronald Toole, North Augusta, SC, Donald Toole, North Augusta, SC, Gerald Toole, Hartwell, GA, as well as the late Lenwood Toole and the late Laverne Toole.

The family will greet friends on Monday, January 8, 2018, from 6 until 8 o'clock at Hatcher Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 3464 Jefferson Davis Hwy., Graniteville, SC. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Tuesday, January 9, 2018, at 4 o'clock in the chapel of Hatcher Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Graniteville, SC. In accordance with his wishes, Mike will be cremated following the service.
