THOMSON, Ga. - Steven R. Ferguson, Jr., 35, entered into rest Thursday, April 9, 2009. Graveside services will be held this Monday, April 13, 2009, at 11:00 A.M., in the Haskins Family Cemetery, Waynesboro, GA. Steven, a native of Augusta, was a Cub Scout and Boy Scout. He also played football and enjoyed playing recreational sports. He loved Tennessee Volunteers Football, he loved to fish at his grandparents' farm and spend time with his family. Steven was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Leo Ferguson, Jr., and his uncle, Mike Ferguson. Survivors include his mother and step-father, Barbara and Loren Adams; father and step-mother, Steven and Terry Ferguson, Sr.; sisters and brother-in-law, Jennifer and Adam Hart, and Joy Darby; brothers and sister-in-law, Justin Ferguson, and Matthew and Lisa Ferguson; maternal grandparents, Curtis and Josephine Haskins; paternal grandmother, A.M. 'Granny' Ferguson; uncles and their spouses, Marc Ferguson, Curtis and Betty Haskins, Jr., Randy and Karen Haskins, Alan Haskins, Kent and Selena Haskins, Scot and Tonya Haskins; aunt and her spouse, Sandra and Tommy Landrum; as well as several nephews, nieces and cousins. Pallbearers will be Adam Hart, Scot Haskins, Randy Haskins, Alan Haskins, Rhett Glover, and William Glover.
