Paul was my English professor at Georgia Military College. The literary style I use when I write, I learned from him. We connected through our shared military service, our love of literature, even our since of humor. To me, he was more than just a teacher. He was my friend. I will truly miss him.

Truly one of greatest men I have had the pleasure to know, A conversation with Col Simon was always interesting. He served his country well, as a soldier and as an educator. He will be missed

Professor Simon taught me English in college. He was wonderful as a teacher and equally great as an individual. He was quick-witted, funny and knowledgeable. I will be praying for the family in the days and weeks to come.
