Peggy Quattlebaum

HEPHZIBAH, Ga. - Peggy Judge Quattlebaum, 79, wife of the late Edward L. Quattlebaum, entered into rest Sunday, February 23, 2014 at her residence. Funeral services will be held at the Hephzibah Baptist Church this Thursday, February 27, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. with the Reverend Dan McGill and the Reverend John Beck officiating. Interment will follow in the Hephzibah-Vance Cemetery. Mrs. Quattlebaum will lie in state at the church for one hour prior to the service. Mrs. Quattlebaum, daughter of the late Thomas Judge and Madelyn Shaw, was a native of Valdosta and had made the Augusta area her home for most of her life. She was a longtime member of the Order of the Eastern Star and the Hephzibah Baptist Church. Her children are Ralph Andrew Quattlebaum (deceased in 1990), Connie Q. and Ashley Weeks, William "Billy" and Bushy Quattlebaum, Thomas "Tim" and Sue Quattlebaum, Terry Q. and Titus Darabant, Sarah Q. and Michael Hare and Stephanie Quattlebaum and Pam Light; as well as numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home and at other times friends may call at the home.
