Robert W. Coster

Coster, Robert W. Age 80, of Oswego, IL died Wednesday, March 19, 2014 at Seasons Hospice in Naperville, IL. He was born on December 14, 1933 in Blue Earth, MN, the son of the late Elbert H. and Adeline E. (Buchman) Coster. He was a long-time member of the Westminster Presbyterian Church in Aurora, IL and attended the Oswego Presbyterian Church for many years. Rob graduated from Big Rock High School in Big Rock, IL Class of 1951; he graduated from the University of Illinois in 1955 and attained a law degree from John Marshall Law School in Chicago, IL in 1962. He practiced law in Chicago until his retirement in 1999. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Sally (Dano) Coster; two daughters, Cathy (Randy) Goree of Muskego, WI, Caryn (Tom) Drown of Morris, IL; a son, Steve (Colleen) Coster of Burlington, WI; three grandchildren, Alexandra and Samantha Drown and Luke Coster; his sister, Lois (Dale) Greenlee of Ukiah, CA and brother, Richard (Sandra) Coster of Sherrard, IL; a sister-in-law, Kay Dano of Charlotte, NC; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Robert Dano. Visitation will take place at the Oswego Presbyterian Church, 1976 N Route 25 in Oswego, IL on Saturday, March 22, 2014 from 9:00 until the funeral service at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Terry Hennessey officiating. A private burial will take place at Pearce Cemetery in Oswego, IL. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the charity of the donor's choice.
