I am sorry to hear of his passing. He was always so interesting to talk to. He had done a lot of things in his lifetime He was very proud of his involment with Waubonesee. He had a sharp mind and good business sense. He was a wise soul who will be missed deeply by family and friends.

I knew Dale as the owner of Hansen Mattress (we lived nearby) and also for through Waubonsee (I was an employee '75-84). Always respected, admired the man. He worked so hard for the community he loved.

What an incredible public servant Dale was! Although I first met him through my dad, who was a fellow Optimist, I got to know him best for his leadership at Waubonsee. Always a twinkle in his eye, he was one of our favorite trustees and will always be remembered with fondness.
