Virginia Anderson Obituary

Virginia Rose Anderson, 77, of Montgomery passed away on August 31, 2015. She was born on September 11, 1937 in Humblodt, IL the daughter of Norman and Eliza (Ashworth) Waltrip. She was a longtime member of St. Luke's Church in Montgomery and Women of the Moose. She loved playing cards and was in many card clubs. She is survived by her daughter Robin (Larry) Mitchell, granddaughter Michelle Line, grandson Christopher (Leslie) Mitchell, and great-grandchildren, Rosalyne Line and Natalie and John Christopher Mitchell. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Jack Anderson, brothers; Donald, George, James, and Thomas Waltrip and a sister Sue Ann Smith. Family will be receiving guests on Thursday, September 3, 2015 from 3:00 PM until the time of service at 7:00 PM at Dieterle Memorial Home, 1120 S. Broadway Ave. Montgomery, IL. Funeral will be on Friday, September 4, 2015 at 10:00 AM at St. Luke's Church 11 Pembrooke Rd. Montgomery, IL. Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery.
