Georgeanne McCusker, age 62, of Yorkville, IL, passed away on Saturday, February 10, 2007 at her home. She was born on August 9, 1944 in Chicago, IL, the daughter of George and Florence (nee Kroener) John.

Georgeanne was united in marriage on July 26, 1975 in Burbank, IL to Mr. Patrick A. McCusker and they spent the next 31 happy years of their lives together. Mrs. McCusker was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Yorkville, IL. She was a graduate of George Williams College in Downers Grove, IL. Georgeanne was later employed at Marmion Academy in Aurora, Illinois in its Publications Department. Georgeanne was, at this time, employed as an assistant Office Manager at Superior Metal Products in Sugar Grove, IL. She loved gardening and flowers, and enjoyed nothing more than taking care of her beautiful seasonal flower beds at her homes. Georgeanne was a certified Master Gardener and was in charge of the flower gardens at the Blessed Mother's Grotto at Marmion Academy in Aurora, IL. She was a member of the White Oak Estates Bridge Club in Yorkville, IL. Above all else, the love and pride she had for her three sons shone through in everything she did for them. Georgeanne was a loving wife, mother, niece, aunt, cousin, and a kind and gentle friend to many.

She is survived by her husband, Patrick A. McCusker of Yorkville, IL; her three sons, Bryan McCusker of St. Charles, IL, Patrick (fiancee, Taryn Kannegeisser) McCusker of Sacramento, CA and Kevin McCusker of Yorkville, IL; her three sisters, Linda (Stephen) Fisk of New Jersey, Lucy John of LaGrange, IL and Janet (Jerry) Stanibal of Phoenix, AZ; her aunt, Regina Kroener of Downers Grove, IL; her uncle, Roy (Gerri) Kroener of Morris, IL; as well as several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Florence John; and brother, George John.

So sorry to hear of Georgeanne's passing. I saw Aaron Maschman at a meet Wednesday and he told us the sad news. She was a big fan of NCC swimming and a sweet lady. She will definitely be missed. May the good Lord watch over the McCusker family in this time of grief and we hope to see our loved ones in Heaven some day.

Pat ~
Wally and I were saddened to hear of Georgeanne's passing. Unfortunately, we aren't able to attend her funeral as we are still in Florida. Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you and your boys. If our losses have taught us anything, it's to take one day at a time and hold on to the faith that you have.

Pat,my deepest sympathies. I will continue to pray, not only for Georgeanne, but your own healing. The one blessing in this is the support of your three boys. I know how good and supportive they are, and pray your mutual support will give all of you the courage and strenght to go on in Georgeanne's absence. Try to remember, she is with God, and you will be reunited for eternity.

What can I say about my sister, everyone who knew her, knows what a special lady is was! Georgeanne for the past five years has show all of us courage. She is and alway will be in my heart. Georgeanne and my other sisters are my best friends. I wish there was a way to tell you what an important part of my life she was. I could always call her when I was having a bad day and she would listen. I don't know what I will do without her. The days since she has left have been unbareable. I was very lucky to have had her in my life for 51 years. I am and always will be part of Pat, Bryan, Pat and Kevin's family and will be just a phone call a away. I love you guys.
