DeWeese, June
85, of Phoenix, Arizona passed away on February 5th, 2013. June was born to James and Marie Melton on June 9th, 1927 in Martin County Indiana. June was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, William DeWeese, grandson Shaun William Scott, nephew Billy Hopper, and brother and sister-in-law Tom and Eileen Melton. June moved from Indianapolis to Monroe, Michigan in 1968 and lived there until moving to Phoenix in 1977. She was a wonderful homemaker and worked as an exceptional jewelry salesperson that was almost impossible to refuse. June is survived by son Brett and daughter Threse and grandson Brent Derek DeWeese, daughter-in-law Sandra DeWeese and son-in-law Steve Scott, brother Mark Melton and sister Judith Hopper, sister-in-law Rita Melton and brother-in-law Bill Hopper. She was the "GO TO" aunt of six nieces, Vickie, Valerie, Sherry, Holly, Nicole and Pam. And "GO TO" aunt of two nephews, Craig and Mike Melton. She loved people, birds and video poker. She was laid to rest next to her husband at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona on February 22nd, 2013. DEAR HEART, you will always be in our hearts and memories. Until we meet again, your loving family.
