Having spent (much) time in the field and back at home base (Chandler) with Jon, I have gotten to know him very well. He was always kind and ready to chat with you about anything. Long trips in field are hard. Jon knew that and taught me what he knew and how to get through them. I will never forget that. He will be missed greatly. My deepest condolences to Adrienne and the rest of his family.

I can't express in words the feelings that are bouncing from one end of my head to the other and back and forth from my heavy heart. Jonathan was one of the most caring and sensitive souls I have ever had the good fortune of knowing and I wish there was a way that I could turn back time and make this just a horrible nightmare, as opposed to the reality it unfortunately is. He made a HUGE impact on my life and will always be a large part of my fond memories. Rest in peace, my friend. I will love you forever and ever...
