Amado, Irene Figueroa
Irene Figueroa Amado was born to Ed Y. Figueroa and Gertrude Navarro Figueroa on March 28, 1919. She was a native of Arizona having been born in her mother's home on 14th St. & Taylor. The home still stands today. Irene was married to the love of her life Pete Pizarro Amado who is predeceased. Irene joined him and the rest of her family on January 17, 2013. She was 93 years old. Irene is survived by her youngest sister, Alice and husband Winn, Irene's three sons, predeceased son John Gilbert, middle son Phil and wife Dot, and youngest son, Franklyn and wife Wanda. She also has 7 nieces and nephews. They are Irene, Fran, Bobbie, Vic, Tommy, Laurie, Kathy, and their spouses. Her 9 grandchildren, Johnny, Tina (deceased), Kim, Jay, Nikki, Phil Jr., Jennifer, Lenny, Mia and their spouses, 17 great grandchildren, Jacob, Irene, Joshua, Julie, Michael, Joshua, Katie, Sara, Jay, John, Christina, Veronica, Nicholas, Ashley, Phillip P, Kent Jr., Serena, and 9 great great grandchildren: Tina, Shane, Isaiah, Chris, Alexandria, Zachary, Eva, Stephanie, and Evan. Before passing, Irene spoke of all the fun she and her cousins had in Arizona. She also spoke of her love for all her family. Services will be held at Saint Elizabeth Seton @ 10:00 am 9728 W. Palmeras Dr. Sun City, AZ 85373-2254.

We loved having you live with us for the last 3 years, we thoroughly enjoyed every moment.
