Archie was indeed a uniquely generous individual. He took a bullet when a jewelry store was being robbed. He guided me in my first business and I appreciated his confidence in me as we worked together at the Record Reporter. As an expression of this generosity, there was one day while he was making a personal delivery to the Camelback Inn that he ran across a British couple looking for directions. With his engaging personality he became their guild for the next few days and showed them all the highlights of the Valley. What an ambassador!

Archie was indeed a man who contributed to his community and the business world in many ways. He should forever be indebted to his wonderful wife Karen (of about 50 years) for the constant care and love she gave him during his lifetime, especially the last seven years. Won't seem right to see her without Archie. Rest in peace, sweet man!!
