Robinson, Aaron
Aaron Robinson, age 69, of Cave Creek passed away Sunday, March 10, 2013 at home. He was born on September 10, 1943 in Eupora, Mississippi, to Dan and Ludie Robinson. Aaron is survived by his wife of 44 years Amanda, and his son and daughter Andre & Angela. Dating back to his days as a young boy in Mississippi, Aaron grew up with his sister Jessie, and brothers Roscoe, Ivory, and identical twin Israel. In 1966 Aaron met Amanda in Chicago, Illinois, but soon thereafter served his beloved country in the United States Marine Corps in Vietnam. After serving overseas and receiving an honorable discharge in 1967, Aaron returned to Chicago to seek his love, Amanda. Then on June 22, 1968 Aaron and Amanda were married and started a union that would stand the test of time. In 1969, they moved to California and started a family in 1973 with the birth of their son Andre, and two years later Angela was born. Aaron exemplified honor, love, respect for all, and unparalleled integrity, in which these values he raised his family. Aaron worked as a maintenance supervisor for Willamette Industries in Cerritos for 25 years before retiring in 2009. After retiring he and Amanda moved to Cave Creek, Arizona and started a new chapter. This was the time for him to live his dream with Amanda making them completely inseparable. Aaron loved to travel, play golf, garden, cook, and spend as much family time as he could. Even though in retirement Aaron still was a man of all trades finding time to seek a part-time job at Target (Desert Ridge). Aaron will be forever remembered as a giving, gentle, loving soul until his final days, and his legacy will continue on.
