Hale, Cal T.
78, passed away on July 8, 2014, at his Glendale home. He was the loving husband of his best friend and wife Sharon Hale. Cal is survived by children Michael and Lydia of Alabama. Michele, Melinda and Terry, Matthew and Tara of Georgia. Troy and Dawn, Jay and Erica of Maine. Pets Rebel and Maxine. Cal was born in Buffalo New York in 1936, to parents Albert and Marion Hale. Cal is a veteran of the Vietnam War, where he served 32 years with distinction as a Army Command Sargent Major of the 101st Airborne. He did three tours of duty in Vietnam and received the Meritorious Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Bronze Star and Legion of Merit Medal. During his lifetime he enjoyed the great outdoors hunting and fishing. Cal will be missed by his loved ones, neighbors and pets. A Memorial will be held on Thursday, July 17, 2014 at 12:00 to 3:00 pm. At the Disabled American Veterans, 8447 N. 61st Ave, Glendale, AZ, 85302. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the DAV Chapter 20, in Cal's Honor.
