Carrillo, Candelario H. Jr.
Candelario H. Carrillo Jr. was born on January 21, 1927 in Ash Fork, AZ, and passed away on November 8, 2013 in Phoenix. He was the son of the late Candelario Carrillo and Refugio Hernandez of Prescott, AZ. He grew up and attended school in Mayer and Prescott, and later earned his GED and Associates Degree in Business. Con proudly served in the US Air Force for 22 years and is the veteran of 3 wars. He married his wife, Peggy, while stationed in Tachikawa, Japan on May 5, 1951. Following his service career, Con worked as a Purchasing Agent for Prudential Insurance and APS where he retired. He spent his retirement doing volunteer work in the service of his community, and was always willing to lend a helping hand when needed. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Octaviano and Rito, sisters, Beatrice and Jenny, and his son James. Along with his wife, he is survived by his children, Steve, Becky, and Patti, and his grandchildren, Jim (Naomi) and Amber, his great grandson Ethan, his sister Vicky (Paul) and many beloved nieces and nephews. We will always remember his fun-loving sense of humor, generosity, hard-work, and his unwavering loyalty to the Dallas Cowboys. Mass will be Friday, November 15, 2013 at 10:00 AM at the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 512 N. 93rd Ave, Tolleson followed by internment at 11:15 AM at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery, 9925 W.
