Frederica Fleischmann Agins died November 4, 2012 in Sun City Arizona. She was known to most as "Freddie." Frederica Agins came to Wyoming in 1940 when she was three years old. In 1945 her father, Bill Fleishmann, bought a cattle ranch in Jackson Hole which is now the Bar B Bar sub-division north of Jackson. She lived there and went to a one room school house, the Zenith School, through 8th grade. She then attended high school at the Montecito School in Santa Barbara, California. In 1956 she studied Art at the University of Arizona. She married Sam Agins in 1957. Frederica and her husband ran a jewelry manufacturing business where Sam did the gold and silver-smithing and she made many of the designs. The couple raised two sons - Judd and Joseph and made their home in Sedona, Arizona. Sam died in 1996. She is survived by her two sons, a companion Fred Alfano, her sister Connie Von Gontard and nieces and nephews. Frederica was an avid bird watcher. She loved animals and loved taking nature walks. She loved history and had a lot of interest in Native American culture and art. Please leave online condolence messages for her family at
