75, left the earth on July 12, 2013. Judy was born in Robinson, Illinois. She went to school there, was active in Camp Fire Girls, drumming in band, cheerleading and the school newspaper. She attended Eastern Illinois University where she joined Sigma Sigma Sigma Sorority and later finished college at Arizona State University. Judy married Tracy Lewis from Robinson. They moved to Arizona in 1963. Judy worked at Scottsdale Public Library and was the librarian and a fourth grade teacher at Navajo Elementary School in Scottsdale. Tracy survives along with son James Michael Lewis, granddaughter Samantha Lewis, daughter Sandra Taylor and husband Steve, grandson David Taylor, grandson Gary Taylor and wife Ruth, great-grandchildren Abigail, Caleb and Kara Taylor. She was preceded in death by her parents Dave and Ruby Abels, and daughter-in-law Ana Lewis. Special thanks go to Dr. Joseph Mikhael, Angela, Megan, April, Bonnie and Amish of Mayo Clinic and . Memorial services will be held on July 20 at 10:00 a.m. at Messinger Indian School Mortuary, 7601 E. Indian School Rd. In lieu of flowers, honorariums may go to and Multiple Myeloma research at Scottsdale Mayo Clinic @www.mayoclinic.org.
