Hand, Lyle
82, born in Murphysboro, IL February 9, 1932, moved to Phoenix in 1972 and went to be with the Lord July 16, 2014 surrounded by his family. He was a husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and a friend to many. He was a Navy veteran of the Korean War, a member of the Community Church of Joy, past chairman of Maricopa County Republican Party, and an auctioneer. He was in the insurance business for 46 years with Prudential and Farmers and a founding member and past president of WVLUA. Most of all Lyle was a Christian man whose life touched many. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Faye, his sons John, David and Paul, six grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and three sisters. A graveside service will be held July 22, 2014 at 10:00 am at National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 23029 N Cave Creek Road, Phoenix, AZ 85024. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 am on July 23, 2014 at the Community Church of Joy, 21000 N 75th Ave., Glendale, AZ 85308. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to , 1510 E.
