Fidler, Marlys Emma
88, of Mesa, AZ, passed away on June 8, 2014. The funeral service will be held at Messinger Indian School Mortuary on Tuesday, June 17 at 7:00pm. Pastor Roger Gordon of King of Glory Lutheran Church will be officiating. A private burial will be held at Greenwood Memory Lawn. Marlys was born in St. Paul, MN on January 28, 1926. She graduated from Senn High School, Chicago, IL, in 1943. Marlys was a homemaker. She enjoyed playing board games and baking. In years past, she was involved at King of Glory Lutheran Church in Tempe, AZ. Marlys is survived by her two sons, six grandchildren, three great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, Carl Fidler, her parents and her sister Ada. Marlys was
a lifelong lover of many family pets and known in the family as Grandma Kitty. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to Desert Labrador Retriever Rescue or the Arizona Animal Welfare League & SPCA.
