Barnes, Patrick Michael
age 45, passed away unexpectedly on Christmas Eve while visiting family in northern Utah. He was a resident of Gilbert and was born in La Mesa, California on July 22, 1967. He was the fifth child and fourth son of Donald Wayne Barnes (deceased) and Fawn Kay Noble Barnes, also from Gilbert. He is survived by a sister, Colette (Barnes) Dinsdale of Gilbert, four brothers, Dan Barnes of Richmond, Utah; Kelly Barnes of Pleasant Grove, Utah; and Sean Barnes of Chicago, Illinois; and 8 nephews and 2 nieces. He was a most beloved son, brother, uncle and friend. Patrick was a recreational motorcycle enthusiast who loved the outdoors and who unconditionally loved his family. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and served a mission in the Texas San Antonio Mission from 1986-1988. He was also an Eagle Scout. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 5, 2013 at the Chandler LDS Stake Center located at 1115 East Ray Road, Chandler, Arizona 85255. There will be a viewing at the church from 9:00-10:00 a.m. that same morning. Burial will immediately follow at the City of Mesa Cemetery, 1212 North Center Street, Mesa, Arizona 85201.
