Charles Quinn Obituary
passed away peacefully the evening of January 26, 2015. Born September 15, 1928 in Longview, Washington. "Chuc" as he was known was beloved husband for 61 years to wife Betty who preceded him in death in 2011. He leaves behind his son, Paul J. Quinn (Janey); daughter Rhonda Quinn Smith (L. Andrew Smith); four grandchildren Brian Smith; Lindsay Quinn (Andrew Binder); Jeffrey Quinn (Colleen); Kellie Quinn Smith (Christopher Smith); two great grand-daughters Jillian and Allison Binder; brother Paul L. Quinn. Chuc touched many lives during his 43 years of service in management with the J.C. Penney Co. He loved his San Francisco 49ers; golf; boating; dancing and being a member of his Hearty Souls Christian group at Scottsdale Bible Church. He attended the University of Washington where he was a member of the championship rowing team. While living in Arizona he became a strong supporter of his A.S.U. Sun Devils for 55 years. His love of family created his passion and hobby of genealogy. He was a former member of Phoenix Rotary Club #100. He will be missed by all those who have been blessed in knowing him. A private family service has been held in his honor. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Valley, 1510 East Flower Street, Phoenix, Arizona 85014. Arrangements entrusted to Messinger Indian School Mortuary.

Chuc was a very special man. I was honored to know him and Betty and to call them my friends. I loved talking about boating with Chuc - his eyes always lit up. He was a real Card Shark and I lost many games of Gin to him. He will be missed. He brought many good things into this world, including a loving family. Rest in Peace, dear Chuc.
