Amanda Blanche Bell Obituary
Bell, Amanda Blanche
96 of Phoenix, passed away on November 21, 2017. She was a great inspiration to everyone who knew her. She was willing to help those in need and gave of herself tirelessly. She was an Elementary teacher for many years and loved teaching children. Her love flowed over to her own children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She played the piano at Tanner Chapel AME Church while helping to direct the children's choir. She guided student teachers while working for Arizona State University. Her passion for education touched many lives. She loved educating little ones and adults. She was highly educated and encouraged others to get higher degrees in education. She never stop seeking knowledge. She taught us the importance of persevering. She loved to travel and learned to understand others and the cultures she was immersed in. She loved to read and always had a quote or thought provoking phase to share. These stories and quotes were words of wisdom, a lesson to guide us, or a phrase to make us laugh. They, also, encouraged us to learn about classic figures of literature. She saw many changes during her life time and embraced many of them. She loved skyping, using a cell phone and learned to embrace flying. If anyone needed help she was there. Her presence always made things brighter. She will be remembered for an enthusiastic zest for life, joyful spirit, love for life, people, and a wonderful sense of humor. She brought excitement and love to all who knew her. She gave hope, love, and the will to go on during hard times as well as good times. She will be greatly missed. Amanda Bell is survived by many family members who will always love and remember her. Her legacy continues on through the loved ones she left behind: Her daughter: Katherine Ann Scroggins, Her grandchildren, great grandchildren and son-in-law's: Robert Knight, Malek Ames, Leilani Knight, Maria Elaine(Martin)Hall, Jasmine, Luca, Malcolm: Kathy Scroggins: Natalie (Jon) Vraney, Leandra, Elizabeth, William, Isabella, Nathaniel, Savannah.
