Carissa,
I've spent days trying to make sense of it all; you were a gift from god, one truely original light that brightened each and every life you came in contact with. You challanged others to laugh, love, and live life to the fullest every single day, and showed us all how through your example. No single word could define all that you were and will continue to be, and no such combination would ever be complete. Every night I play your playlist on my way home from practice- it doesnt seem right not to... I like to think that you're once again along for the ride. Baby girl, Angel, I love you.

To Carissa:
I'll remember you always
for the good you have done,
for the seed you have sown,
for the faith you have given me
and for the example you set.
because you made me laugh because your smile was contagious because of your radiant personality because you werent afraid to just be yourself because you cared... I love you and I will ALWAYS remember you...

I didn't know Carissa very much, but the effect that she had on all of All Saints' Episcopal Day School, was present in everyone. No one could avoid her smile, humor, and personality throughout the school. The news of her departure really struck our family and the the condolences of the Shore family (Gwyne Shore, William Shore, Eddie Shore, and Nicholas Shore) reach out to the Seip family. At school, we passed out orange ribbons to wear in remembrance of Carissa and most still wear them after many days. Carissa will always be remembered by everyone at All Saints', and it is so sad to see her go. We know though that you will light up the heavens, and the world, from where you are now, with your smile, forever.
We Miss You
Nicholas Shore, and the Shore Family.

Dear Seip Family and Friends,
I am saddened to have heard the news of Carissa's passing. Her best friend Sarah is a peer of mine at school. She and Carissa attended one of our highschool band shows at a house party on the 21st of December. The few moments I became acquainted with Carissa was when I drove her and Sarah to Desert Mountain Highschool to be picked up by some of their friends. In honor of Carissa's memory my band and I have decided to dedicate our upcoming show to Carissa and her family. I know Sarah G. will be there. May God bless you, you are in our prayers.
Sincerely,
Ben and the rest of Dyschamber

Carissa was an energetic soul who made everyone laugh and smile. The PCDS campus was always bounding with fantastic energy and people always filled with charisma whenever she entered a room or stepped into the quad. We all loved Carissa dearly and our community will always lack what she brought to us all. She holds a very dear and special place in all of our hearts.

I love you all. You are one of the strongest and loving families I have ever met. Carissa will be missed deeply because she touched all who knew her. My heart goes out to you for your loss, and you will remain in my prayers.
To My Favorite Redhead:
Carissa, I love you. You could always crack me up even on my saddest days and your smile could light up the darkest room. You were such a warm, loving person who could always be counted on to put gum in one's hair and then spend the next period helping them get it out. You will always have a place in my heart and you will be sorely missed. I know you are in a better place now, made all the better with your beautiful presence. Rest in peace sweet baby girl. I love you. -KK

As I write on behalf of our whole family with a sorrow no words can ever express I picture the lovely figure of Carissa in so many lights—Carissa on the volleyball court crouched in anticipation at the oncoming serve, Carissa at the snack bar buying a tremendous amount of candy just to share with her friends, Carissa with her face lit in that cheeky grin of mischief that makes me wonder what playful prank she is up to now, and Carissa as proudly reflected in the faces of her family who loved and supported her in a way only the most devoted and generous of families can. We will all remember you always, Carissa. Always.
Love,
