Phoenix - Hedwig Kubera, known to friends as 'Hattie', entered eternal life on September 4th, 2018, at the age of 98 years. Hattie was an accomplished homemaker and best remembered for her skills as a seamstress, doll maker, cake decorator, gardener, Girl Scout Leader, as well as her devotion to her family. She was an active member of her church and served on several ministries. Hattie, who was preceded in death by her husband Buster, will be forever remembered by her daughters Kim Kubera, Harriet Brigulio (Joe), Dori Brigolin (Garry), and Pauline Uzelac (Jim); 6 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren and an extended family of relations and friends who were blessed to learn many valuable lessons during her life. A mass will be celebrated in memory of Hattie on Saturday, September 22nd, 2018, at St. Rose Catholic Church, 2825 W. Rose Canyon Circle, Anthem, AZ 85086. A second Memorial is being planned in Michigan in November. Those who so desire may make memorial donations in memory of Hattie to the Wounded Warriors Family Support.
