On May 7, 1985 my car was hit by a train at McDowell, Grand and 29th Ave. Mr. Froude got out of his car, picked me up and carried me to safety with no more than broken leg. He could have been severely injured by his heroic act. He is the truly Great Man. I had no idea he passed away. I looked him up after these years because he returned to me in a dream last night over the episode. The World is far superior because he lived. Jim Seletz

It was with a saddened heart that I recently found out that Kurt had passed away. Our families lived next door to each other for several years......his sister Paula was my best friend. Here's to all the memories of our childhood!!

Ours was the first house Kurt came to upon arriving in Tucson. Over the years we came to love him. I will always remember his bright smile. May God bless and comfort all who are grieving his loss today.

Froude Family,
I worked with Kurt at PCH for several years in the PICU. Kurt was always very kind to the families and children and such a pleasure to work with. One day we had a potluck as we always did on night shift and he had made the best salsa. He wrote it out for me on a make shift 3x5 card to keep in my recipe box. I still have it in my recipe box and use the recipe often. I am so sorry for your loss of such a great man. My memories of Kurt will always be kind.
