Mesa - LaVon "Bonnie" Ashcroft Jackson, 101, passed away January 1, 2019 in her Mesa, Arizona home. Born in Ramah, New Mexico on September 5, 1917, she moved to Arizona with her Arizona pioneer parents, Paris Ira and Rachel Butler Ashcroft and lived about 67 years in Arizona.

Bonnie married Frank Leslie Jackson on June 29, 1938 in the Salt Lake City, Utah Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Nine years after Frank's passing, Bonnie married LaMont Potter, who passed away in 2002. She was a faithful member of the church, serving many years in the Mesa Temple, the Mesa History Center, and she served two missions for the church. She loved her posterity dearly and was grateful for each one. Bonnie had 23 grandchildren, 80 great-grandchildren, and 8 great-great-grandchildren.

Her surviving daughters are: Charlotte Archdeacon, Donna Larkin, R. Elaine Beech; surviving sons are: Norman Jackson and Karl Jackson. Her siblings are: Maurine White (deceased), Fern Merrill, Mary Crosby, Henry Ashcroft, Ronald Ashcroft, and Rulon Ashcroft.

We cherish the love we have for her and will always be grateful for the memories we have of her kind, faithful, and true example.
