Marianne G. Warren Obituary
Marianne G. Warren

Flagstaff - Marianne Graf Warren was born on October 4, 1923 in Milwaukee, WI. The daughter of Gladys and Joseph Graf of Elkhart Lake, WI. She married her childhood sweetheart Robb A. Warren in 1947 and they spent the next 65 years together in a remarkable relationship that endured throughout their lives. Marianne is survived by her 3 children, Robb Warren Jr. and wife, Jane (Hilton Head Island, SC), Ann Anderson and husband Tony (Los Barriles, Mexico), and Nancy L Warren and partner Carol (San Rafael, CA), 2 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren, 3 grand dogs and 2 grand cats.

If you ask her children how they remember their mom they would recall an outdoors woman who loved to play tennis (fiercely), canoe, fish and sail. She made a fabulous stuffed musky, leg of lamb and a brilliant pot roast. But if you asked Marianne of what she was most proud she would say the highly regarded estate liquidation company that she built and ran in the 1970s, The Marketplace.

She was a true Democrat having served as the Secretary for her League of Women Voters as well as working the polls for many elections. She was a staunch supporter of the Southern Poverty Law Center, the HRC Victory Fund and the Episcopal Church. She was always generous helping those less fortunate.

Marianne passed away peacefully at home in Flagstaff AZ on Dec 9, 2018. Services will be held at the Peaks, 3150 Winding Brook Rd, Flagstaff, AZ 86001, on January 17 at 2:30 pm. In lieu of gifts we ask that contributions be made to Southern Poverty Law Center in honor of Marianne. (
