Ty Anthony Kachanuk

Ty Anthony Kachanuk 37 born September 30, 1983 in Springfield, IL, to Mark and Lori Kachanuk. Passed away peacefully on Friday April 2, 2021 at home and into the loving arms of our LORD. Ty loved his children deeply and enjoyed spending time with them talking, laughing, cooking, baking, playing games, and doing silly stuff. Ty was always the go fast and live daring guy be it fast cars, motorcycles, and watching racing or hockey on TV. He loved motorcycle riding until a traumatic accident in 2007 left him Paralyzed. After recovery, he continued to be active in physical fitness, going to the gym, hand bike racing, and qualifying for the Paralympic Trials in 2012. He worked with his Dad as a welder/fabricator as his health permitted. He is survived by his, Parents Mark and Lori Kachanuk, Daughters Alexa and Laci Kachanuk, many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and Friends. Arrangements are still being processed. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to Mount Zion Lutheran Church, Peoria, AZ, in Ty's Name. Condolences may be sent to the family by visiting www.heritagefuneralchapels.com

My condolences to the family and close friends. I grew up with Ty, we went to Sunrise Mountain High school back in the late 1990’s. I hadn’t spoke with him since about 2004, before his bike accident. I’m saddened by his passing. May the Lord take care of him until we meet again. Thanks for being a friend when you were here. Until we meet again. YAHWEH BLESS
