William Howard Woodside, 84 of Apache Junction, Arizona went to be with his beloved bride, Mary, when he passed away on Sunday, April 3, 2005 in Scottsdale, AZ. William was born August 21, 1920 in Dowell Town, Tenn., son of William H. and Hattie Mae Woodside. William was married to his High School Sweetheart, Mary Ryan for 63 years till her death in Jan. 2004. Mr. Woodside served in the U.S. Army during WWII and participated in the Landing at Normandy Beach. William was a welder in the automotive industry for 40 years. He is survived by his daughters, Sherry of New Zealand, and Brenda of Phoenix, AZ., sister, Maxine Granger of Jackson, Tenn. and numerous nieces and nephews. Memorial Service will be Saturday, April 16, 2005 at 4:30 PM at Church of the Master, 6659 E. University Dr., Mesa, AZ. Graveside Service will be 10:30 AM, Wednesday, April 13,2005 at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona. Melcher Mortuary Mission Chapel handled arrangements (480) 832-3500.
