Happy belated Memorial Day to Martin. I still think about this guy all the time. Even though the time passes, the love and memories dont fade one bit. I went to visit yesterday and I saw that a loved one had left a BL Tallboy which was very appropriate. Even with tears in my eyes, it made me smile. It's amazing how that blue can brings back all the unforgettable memories....

Martin & Family,

I met Martin in Chicago of'07 while he visited another Marine. Martin was a good man, and friend throughout our friendship. I was very lucky to know him. I did meet his Mother and Father once in AZ, I am sorry for your loss especially his children. Martin always talked about his daughter, she was his life. I hope they always keep him in their hearts.

Dear Tia Susie Tio Greg, Manuel and Gregory, We are so sorry and still in shock to hear about Martin. He was such a wonderful person. His smile, and his humor was contagious. He came to visit us at the hospital when we had the boys smiling from ear to ear with a balloon for each boy :) in and out of my drug enduced fog I didn't want to miss a minute of his visit because of that contagious smile and humor. To the Family of Martin Cienfuegos

You dont know me but my husband and I knew Martin. He became friends with our daughter, Lauren, in middle school and when they were in the 7th grade, Martin came to our house and introduced himself and told my husband that he would like to visit with Lauren. My husband liked him especially after an awkward moment with their handshake, but he became a friend to me and my husband. Whenever we saw him like at a school function, he always made a point to greet us. When he was about to leave for his training, he stopped by our house to say goodbye and a couple of times when he was in town on leave, he stopped by to see how we were doing. The last time we saw Martin, was before he left to Yuma and he came by to say hello and gave us an update on his life. We are very fond of Martin and we will miss him dearly. Martin will always be in our thoughts. We are very happy that he was a part of our lives. We send our sincere condolences to the whole family.
