Blythe, LaVerne Belle
LaVerne Belle (Fitch) Blythe went to be with the Lord on April 11, 2012. She was born on June 8, 1939 and lived to be 72 years old. She is survived by her husband Ed (Kenneth Blythe) of 56 years. Together they raised 3 children, Dane Leroy, Sarah Jane, and Tommy (his wife Liz). She has 7 grandchildren: Kristen, Madison, Maxwell, Mackenzie, Cassidy, Cooper and Blythe Elizabeth; and 2 great-grandsons Bradyen Maxwell and Anakin Orion. She joined her sister Billie Jo in heaven and is survived by her sisters Nedra (Paul) Collins, Francine (Chester) Abel, brothers Kent (Kathy) Fitch, Stephen (Debby) Fitch, and Monty (Benita) Fitch. LaVerne lived a Christ centered life. She was known as wife, mother, nana, sister, cousin, aunt, friend and Aunt Verne to many. She has lived in Arizona all her life, traveled with her husband in the Air Force but she was mainly a resident of Mesa. She has touched so many lives and will be greatly missed. Services will be held Tuesday, April 17, 2012 at Southeast Valley Baptist Church, 710 E. Williams Field Rd, Gilbert 85295. There is a 9:00am viewing, with the service at 10:00am. Interment will follow at Mountain View Cemetery at 1:00 pm. Arrangements by Mountain View Funeral Home (480-832-2850).
