William Henry "Bill" Dennis Obituary
Dennis, William Henry "Bill"
born May 4, 1943 to Elizabeth and John Dennis passed away on March 10, 2014 in Gilbert, AZ. Bill moved to Arizona in 1949 from Connecticut, he graduated from Camelback H.S. in 1961 and proudly served in the U.S. Air Force with a year in Vietnam with Red Horse Squadron. Bill worked for the National Park Service for 22 years at the North and South Rim of the Grand Canyon as a building supervisor. Upon retiring, he moved to Gilbert, Arizona to be closer to his "growing" extended family, his much loved pool, the AZ Diamondbacks and golfing. Bill also loved working on "Sally" his 1965 Mustang. volunteering at the election poll's, bowling, softball, and completing the many "dad-do" lists that his kids sent his way! Bill is survived by his wife Charlene, sister Jean Lay (Dale), brother Jack (Lori), three children Lenna Bowman (Jared), Dale Patton (Amy) and Shawna Baggs (Kevin). He was a MUCH loved papa to Kaitlyn, Megan and Brynna Baggs, Max and Mya Bowman and Nathaniel Patton and multiple aunts, uncle, nieces, nephews and dear friends. In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to the Grand Canyon Association or . A celebration of Bill's life will be held at 1:00pm, Saturday, March 15 at Mariposa Gardens Cemetery Chapel, 6747 E.
