John Francis Iatesta, 62, of Phoenix, AZ passed away October 19, 2017 in Greece, NY where he was working as a Software Engineer. He was born February 1, 1955 in Trenton, NJ to Rocco and Lillian Iatesta. John is survived by his wife Kathy, daughter Veronica, step son Aaron, step daughter Nicole, sister Mary Beth and grandchildren, Mariella, Abraham, Erin Marie, Naomi, Isabella, Shawn and Wyatt. A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, November 6, 2017 at Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church, at 3220 W Greenway Rd, Phoenix, with a Committal Service to follow at Holy Redeemer Catholic Cemetery, 23015 Cave Creek Rd, Phoenix. John, .... it's been since our College Graduation that I last saw you. Discovering you had passed was a shock. You were a great team leader' during our DeVry years and you took great care in mentoring me through the very technical logic of programming and reading machine code. I owed you allot. I often thought of our study group who were so tight and personally close, ... you were a tremendous part of those years and a brilliant mind ! God bless you John, ... I'm sure I'll see you again.
