Loved taking Russian from Mr. Sharpe. In Seattle recently, I stopped at all the piroshky bakeries I saw, in remembrance of the piroshky making parties he used to have for students at his house. I still have some little Russian pins he used to give us all. Condolences to the family.

Dear Carol, Charlie and family,
Charlie was a very important figure in my UU life, welcoming me warmly when I was brand new. I loved his stories of teaching the Russian language and the tour of your beautiful home.
With love, Marisa

Psalms 90:10 says that the days of our years are 70 years, And if because of special mightiness they are 80 years. May the memories of the wonderful times you shared together bring a smile and joy in your heart.

Charley was a renaissance man who never lost his curious mind. He was interested in everything and talented as a teacher in both Russian and English. He enjoyed hosting parties with his wonderful wife Carol. My husband Pete and I had many good times with the Sharpes. He always was the life of the party. He will be greatly missed, but we are left with wonderful memories. We are so sorry for the family's loss.
