I was deeply saddened to hear of the passing of my Great-Uncle Ed. He was an amazing person. Gruff, but so very, very kind-hearted and generous. He was also quite a character! My grandmother, Ed's older sister, lived in Shreveport, but he visited her several times a year, by car, even coming in poor health. They talked several times a week, and he was so devoted to her. It was a special thing to witness. I last saw him when he drove from Bakersfield to Shreveport this April for her funeral. He treated the whole family to breakfast and was entertaining, as always, even in his sadness. He will be truly missed.

My Uncle Ed was a special man, uncle , and brother to my mother, Mildred Noble Cotten. He visited her often, looked out for her, and they loved exchanging tall tales. I will always appreciate his devotion to her. She passed away just three months ago.
I will miss him along with her. They were the last of that generation.

We have known Ed Noble for over 30 years. He has always been a good friend to us. I fished with Ed for many years and had many great days of fishing aboard both his boats: Rosa Mae 1 and Rosa Mae 2. He was also a very generous and kind man to me and my family. We will miss him. Our deepest condolences to Ken and the rest of Ed's family.

I also send my deepest condolences to Ed's son, Kenny. My father, Doyle, lived next to Ed for many years. Ed was always there for my father when he needed him. My father and I enjoyed listening to Ed's many adventures. He was an amazing man.

I send my deepest condolences to Ed's son, Kenny. Ed was a dear, devoted nextdoor neighbor to my father for many years. He was extremely generous to my father, frequently supplying him with his incredibly prepared salmon. The two often shared military stories, as well as perspectives on life. Ed was a gentle giant, who exuded love and tremendous compassion for others. His memorable footprint will always be etched in my heart.
With love and blessings,
