Dear Mrs. Lorch,
I just learned of your husband's passing from my father, Sid Kess. My dad thought so highly of Norman and spoke of his caring nature and 'mentchlichkeit'. I myself have such vivid memories of you and Mr. Lorch at my daughter's wedding (with Adele and Frannie) and can still see his smile in my mind's eye. I hope and pray that your own sweet memories will help sustain you in these difficult times.

Dear Susan,
Toby and I are stunned and so terribly sad for Norman, you, your children, grandson and the entire family. Norman and I were in the same confirmation class at BHC and classmates at City. In the midst of our sadness, we also celebrate his many successes and contributions that made this world a better place, and especially give thought to all the love he gave and received.
It was so pleasing in recent years to have the privilege of reconnecting with him and meeting you! I will always consider it an honor and a joy to have walked side by side with Norman on such special parts of our journey through this life.
His City classmates are grieving. Our sympathies and prayers are with him and with you!
Zichrono Livracha, may his memory be for a blessing always,
Bruce E. Kahn

My condolences to the family. May you find comfort in reading 2 Thessalonians 2:16, 17. May the God of Comfort provide your family with the peace and comfort that only he can give.

I am so very sorry for your loss. Norman worked with me on several projects when I was at Halcrow. He was such a warm, funny man. May he rest in peace.
