Ernestine Chambers Notice
Ernestine Chambers, nee Rose, 96, a sweet, caring and devoted soul, peacefully started her next journey on July 8, 2018. After marrying in 1944 and Robert's stint in the Navy, they moved to Baltimore, MD for him to pursue his medical career and she to maintain the home front. For 60 years she volunteered at Franklin Square Hospital. She enjoyed extensive traveling with her husband, entertaining family and friends, (hundreds of his residents, fellows and colleagues relished the annual steak party at their home in Ruxton, MD) reading, avid duckpin bowling, gardening and mowing at their White Hall, MD home on her beloved Kubota tractor. She was a supportive friend to all she met. She is survived by her daughters Elizabeth (Libby) Lee Chambers, Brenda Rose Cutter and her husband, Roger B. Cutter, her grandchildren Elizabeth Kathyrn Rose Cutter and her fiancée, Anton Hogelin of Sweden; Robert James Chambers Cutter and his wife Lisa; Laurel Cutter Springfield and her husband Michael; her great grandchildren Derek David and Kenzie Nadia Cutter, Ryan, Jordan and Justin Wakefield; and, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
