On February 21st, 2021, Joan Shirley Pritchett, 83, of Carney, Maryland passed away. Along with being a former librarian for BGE, Joan was the beloved wife of the late Lee Pritchett, Sr., married for 25 years; devoted mother of Robert K. Daiker, Jr. & his wife Tammy, Donna Morris & her husband Chet, and David Daiker & his wife Linda; loving step-mother of Anita McComas & her husband Richard, Lewis Pritchett, Jr., Anthony Pritchett & his wife Rene, Andrea Pecunes & her husband Ben, and George Frankowski; cherished grandmother of Chet Jr., Jessica, Kenneth, and Amanda; caring great-grandmother of Trey, Caden, Owen, Ethan, Ellie, and Marlie; dear sister of John Barczak & his wife Eileen, and Robert Barczak & his wife Theresa; also survived by numerous step-grandchildren, step-great-grandchildren, and other family and friends.
Family and friends will honor and celebrate Joan's life at the family owned Evans Life Celebration Home – Parkville, 8800 Harford Road with a visitation on Sunday, February 28th, 2021 from 3-5PM & 7-9PM. A funeral service will be held at 11AM on Monday. Internment at Gardens of Faith Cemetery. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.evansfuneralchapel.com
